The FEAST Research Study

Enhanced Spatial Targeting in ECT utilizing Focally Electrically-administered Seizure Therapy (FEAST)

If you…

  • Are 22-90 years old
  • Have severe depression & ECT has been suggested for you by your doctor
  • Do not have psychosis
  • Are not currently dependent on street drugs or alcohol

You may qualify for a research study of a form of ECT that may deliver treatments with minimal memory loss. Treatment includes the use of a focal electronically administered therapy (ECT) which has been shown to be an effective treatment of severe depression.

    Study participation:

    • Up to 8 weeks including 4-5 weeks of treatment.
    • Involves no sham or placebo treatments.
