Research Assistant
Carson Knoer joined the Interventional Psychiatry Lab in 2025. He is a Medical Student in the University of Minnesota Class of 2028 who hopes to explore psychiatry, family medicine, and clinical research in his career. Carson graduated from Northwestern University in 2021 with degrees in Biology & Psychology. As an undergraduate he pursued research in prodromal psychosis, in the years following his graduation he worked as a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health refining skills and expertise in PET and neuroimaging research in neuroinflammatory disease. He is very excited to contribute to the quickly advancing field of neuromodulation and work directly with patients receiving care.
