Rama Abbadi is a medical doctor from Jordan with a strong interest in psychiatry and mental health research. A graduate of the University of Jordan, she focused during her medical education on research exploring depression, anxiety, imposter syndrome, and stimulant misuse among youth. Her work includes co-adapting and evaluating an online-based intervention to prevent depression and anxiety in Jordanian youth in collaboration with the University of Chicago. Dr. Abbadi’s research has been published and presented internationally, with partnerships involving Yale and other leading institutions. She is committed to advancing accessible, culturally informed mental health care through evidence-based research and innovation.
She joins the Interventional Psychiatry Lab in August 2025, with a focus on structured clinical ratings for research participants.
